Abstract
L.J. Saul said, "Children raised from birth with love, respect and understanding would probably be free of neurosis, psychosis, criminality, violence proneness, irrationally hostile acting out, revolution and war-and intrafamilial hostilities.
Such
individuals would then be free to love and work and play, and raise properly the next generation of childrne"10)
Disturbed interpersonal experience in childhood develops disturbed emotional pattern, which in turn reenacts in the couples conflict inmarriage.
It is needed to understand thoroughly the dynamics of each partner, relieve the disturbance and reinstate the balance of the couple, thus returning the couple to their harmonious life style.
As there are too many variables in the problem of marriage and couples therapy, it is much more important to study real cases of couples therapy than to study theoretical formulations.
